Title: The Moon: Golden Core of the 21st Century
This project was inspired by moon that has been the most important exploration object for future life. It focused on the surface of the moon that preserves the exploded windings and the dug out craters.
Gold was used to symbolize the moon image. The harmony of the gold coat and the black one-piece dress expresses the harmony between the moon and man. The irregular pleats and protruded parts on the gold surface symbolize the windings and craters of the surface of the moon that is uncultivated and unused. The regular pleats of the black dress symbolize the humanity that is mechanized and standardized.
Gold metallic lame was used for the sleeveless out-wear. Black pleated polyester was used for the one-piece dress inside. The irregular crinkle on the gold dress were made by hand with handsewn and paraffin. The protruded craters were created by making holes and inserting the round-shaped self-fabric that was separately made.
